Button and switch audit — current configuration and remaining tests

Reviewed against shared recordings, screenshots and Kyle’s decisions through October 6, 2026. The tables show the agreed mappings; unchecked items are the remaining work. Configuration reviewed does not mean physically tested.

Status and next order

Area	Current status	Next action
All Lutron controls	Done by Kyle’s confirmation; retain current behavior.	No further audit now.
Master bedroom	Configuration reviewed and updated.	Physical control tests below; Sexy Time audio resolved.
Master bathroom	Configuration reviewed; motion exceptions intentional.	Test manual boost, mood scenes and shower protection at home.
Office	Configuration reviewed and updated.	Physical door/presence tests below.
Laundry Room Hue Switch	All four single presses reviewed; long presses empty.	Physical testing and scene/motion interaction checks pending.
Living Room shades Mini	Partial-position close behavior updated.	Test grouped shades.
Oakley’s and Finley’s switches	Paused until Upstairs Hue devices move to Bridge Pro.	Use saved room checklists; migration first, then rebuild/review/test switches.

Laundry Room Hue Switch

Reviewed from ScreenRecording_10-05-2026 15-13-04_1.mp4, supplied October 5, 2026.

Button	Single press	Long press
1	Normal Laundry Room	Unassigned
2	Colors In Laundry Room	Unassigned
3	Late Night Laundry Room	Unassigned
4	Laundry Room Overhead → off; actual action opened	Unassigned

[x] Review all four single-press assignments; all long presses empty.
[x] Test physical response at home.

Scene contents and motion interaction were not opened. No conditional shortcut is shown. Prior reliability issue was resolved; the older claim that buttons 2/3 were unconfigured is superseded.

Whole-house control decisions

All Lutron controls are done. Dial when lights are on → minimum brightness; dial when off → Relax, updated throughout the house.
Normal Oakley’s Room, Normal Finley’s Room and Normal Stairs → 100% Adaptive color, confirmed by Kyle.
Grouped lights and shades remain grouped. Office A is the accepted representative for Office A/B/C; do not demand separate B/C conditions.

Master bedroom controls

Control	Single press	Double press	Long press
Fan Mini	If fan speed 15–30% (usual 25%) → Sexy Time; otherwise → 25%.	If speed ≤25% → 50%; otherwise → 75%. Off → double press → 50% is desired.	If speed ≥50% → 25%; otherwise → off.
Bonnie Table Mini	If ANY Overhead 1, Kyle Lamp or Bonnie Lamp is off: night 9pm–5am → on at 80%; otherwise Normal Master. If none is off → off.	Fan ≤30% → 50%; otherwise 75%.	Updated to include overhead shutdown.
Kyle Table Mini	Kyle Lamp off → 20%; on → off.	Kyle Lamp on → shutdown action (22 targets); otherwise Late Night Master.	Guest Mode on → Off Basement + Off Sport Court + direct shutdown avoiding Oakley’s, Finley’s and Kids Bathroom. Guest Mode off → Good Night + Master HomePod pause.

Single press → 25%, double → 50% or more, long → down/off is intentional. At the usual fan 25% state, one press activates Sexy Time.
Master Ceiling Fan Light stays on to power/control the overhead Master light. It is not Hue and is excluded from the Master dial and shutdown actions.
Good Night leaves Oakley’s Little Lamp and Finley’s Lamp untouched. Do not add explicit on or off actions for these bedtime lights, even if Guest Mode was forgotten.
Guest Mode protects Oakley’s Room, Finley’s Room and Kids Bathroom. Master Bathroom is a separate room and can be included in Master shutdowns.
